Repeal of Section 13 of urdinance No. 2 of 1903.

Repeal of sub-section (1) of section 25 of Ordinance No.36 of

1999 and new sub-sec-

tion substituted there-

for.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as The Merchant Shipping Asendment Ürdinance 1904 and shall be read and construed as one with the Merchant Shipping Consolidation Ordinance, 1899, hereinafter called the Principal Ordinance.

2. Section 18 of the Merchant Shipping Amendment Ordinance, 1903, is hereby repealed.

3. Sub-section (1) of section 25 of the principal Ordinance

is hereby repealed and the following sub-section (1) is substituted in place thereof:-

"(1) Every junk when under weigh within the

waters of the Colony shall from sunset to sun- rise cause to be exhibited a bright white light at the foremast head visible all round the horizon at a distance of at least one mile; and at the stern a bright white light visible at a distance of at least one mile. For each omission to comply with the requirements of this sub- section the Master or other person for the time being in charge shall be liable to a pensity not exceeding one hundred dollars."
